Hand-held glass tubing cutter. Easy to use, no water required. Simply score the circumference of your glass tubing and with a quick 'snap' you have a nice clean break. Cutting wheel can score many times before the cutter needs to be replaced. You can cut lengths down to approx 20mm. Maximum diameter of glass - 60mm. Will cut borosilicate and flint glass.
Note: The rotation of the cutting wheel can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the screw that holds it in place. For best results the wheel should turn slowly as you score the glass.

★★Room to improveWould benefit from a narrower profile on the holding side and something to rest the tube on other than bare metal; without these 20mm is a rather hopeful minimum length of cut. An absolute necessary change is extended handles; as designed there are no means of leverage, you can only put as much pressure on the tube as you can squeezing your thumb and a finger. Very tiring to maintain pressure, so much as makes this tool almost useless without the kind of mechanical advantage that added handles would provide.
